  My name has appeared in one of these bogus reviews the content of which is a fabrication, my involvement in the firm was as an accounts clerk and process server for Denise Dwyer Lawyers, which ended some two and a half years ago.

  Should a complaint against a law firm be justified there are standard procedures in place which should be followed - these are laid out in detail within the lawyers disclosure statement. The initial complaint (if genuine) should be directed to the firm and include a contact with a real time address - not simply a "Google review". Should the firm fail to address the complaint then a formal written complaint can be made to the Legal Services Commission - no complaints received.

  Sophie McMannus, Steven Martin, Roy Allen and more importantly Daniel Barber wrote damning reviews claiming to be current clients of Denise Dwyer Lawyers.

  On speaking to the principal Anna Araneta she advises me that there is no record whatsoever of the above persons being clients of Denise Dwyer Lawyers nor has any complaint been lodged by any of them. This leads me to the conclusion that this is simply bullying hate mail - dressed up as reviews, which are non-genuine and should be dismissed.

  Denise Dwyer is Counsel at the Victorian Bar and appears at court on behalf of Denise Dwyer Lawyers a competent law firm which has been in practice for the last nineteen years.

  I didn't see Denise herself (who is reported to be good at what she does), but instead saw the other solicitor Anna. After seeing her on three occasions, I found her to be very unempathetic, judgemental, passive aggressive and with a distinct lack of enthusiasm. I was left with the feeling that she could not or would not do her best to assist me; thus I found another Law firm and ended up with a positive outcome. I was not looking for sympathy, just good legal representation and with such sensitive and important issues as Family Law, a little bit of empathy and professionalism goes a long way with clientel confidence.
